- Survey the existing space
- Prepare an inventory of existing furnishings
- Meet with your consultants
Design Development
- Space plan and furniture location layout
- Selection and design of:
- furniture, fabrics, colors and finishes
- interior architectural surface treatments
- cabinetry, millwork and moldings
- light fixtures
- decorative art, accessories, lamps and any other
elements as necessary
- Coordinate the preparation of sketches and color
renderings
- Prepare a budget based upon specific items
Design Documentation
- Dimensioned design documents and specifications for:
- demolition and salvage instructions
- partition location plans
- wall elevations and details
- reflected ceiling and lighting location plan
- cabinetry, decorative millwork and molding details
- paint and finish schedules
- other items as necessary
Purchasing and Procurement of
Furnishings
- Make available to the Client our purchasing capabilities
- For the Client's bid purposes, prepare a furnishings
procurement specifications list
Contractor Bid Submission
Assistance
- Meet with your selected prospective contractors for the
purpose of reviewing the Design Documents for their bid
submission
- Considering value alternatives to the bid
Observation and Installation of the
Project and its Furnishings
- Observe work being performed for compliance with Design
Documents
